Ski 4,139 Vertical, Leg-burning Feet, and Still, You've Scratched Only the Surface of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort's SLopes

In Teton Village, a 20-minute drive from Snow King Resort Hotel, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort boasts one of the longest and steepest vertical drops of any ski area in North America. After a ten-minute aerial tram trip to the summit of Rendezvous Mountain—10,450 feet up—you have your pick of terrains to return to the resort's base at 6,311 feet.

Over 4,000 feet of vertical and 2,500 acres of skiable terrain are accessed by the famous Aerial Tram at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. There are 11 other lifts spread across the resort as well. Of the 116 named trails on the map, 50 percent are rated expert, 40 percent intermediate, and 10 percent beginner.

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort operates year-round, skiing from November to April. Annual events include the start of Pole, Peddle, Paddle; the Wyoming Special Olympics and the finish of the 200-mile Logan-to-Jackson bike ride.

Kid's Ranch offer lessons for the little ones, starting from 3 years of age, while Mountain Sports School will take adult learners of any age or level. Guide service is available.
